Our 'why'
What makes us tick?
We are passionate about bringing the new financial literacy to people of both the developing and developed regions of the world. Just because someone has been well-educated does not mean that they are financially literate. And just because someone has had very little education does not mean that they cannot understand and powerfully use financial information.
We know this because we help people just like this all the time.
We are working to create a global change in how people relate to financial information. We see a world where people are empowered and free of fear and limitation when managing their business and personal financial matters.
One of the greatest challenges before us all is the widening gulf between those with access to economic resources and those without. Those "with" have tried over the years to provide some of those resources, usually in the form of crisis aid, to those "without". It is an imperfect squeaky-wheel response, and inequalities and unfairness grow. An unsustainable dependency is created which reduces and diminishes. Imagine a world where the language of money and wealth creation is accessible to all: for language is power (Mandaway Yunipingu) and education can change the world (Nelson Mandela). A world where those "without" use their new language to stand tall, enjoin and participate; where resources received are nurtured and grown, slowly and surely recovering the capacity to create and rebuild; lives and communities and regions and even countries. So, our 'why', or whatever you want to call it, is to make the new financial literacy education accessible to all. No matter what a person's history, their circumstances or their environment: everyone has the fundamental right to understand and use financial information for their own upliftment.
