 Public Workshops

The Accounting Comes Alive! workshop is provided from time to time in an open enrolment format. To find out what's available in your area, contact your local ACA representitive. You can find them at Contact Us in the side menu.

Forget everything you may have heard or experienced about learning accounting.  As you can tell by its name, this workshop is very different. We have discovered a simple and powerful way for anyone to understand the required language of business. Our Right Brain Accounting® approach is reassuring, social and conversational. We use plain language together with an extremely powerful business modelling system (not a game - this is real) that everyone can use to improve financial literacy and develop business acumen for life.

The target audience includes:
  1. People whose actions and decisions impact on their financial statements, and

  2. People who make decisions based on financial statement information.

Sometimes, organisations want to 'check us out' before committing to an in-house workshop or series of workshops and the public workshops provide a great opportunity to do just that. So send along your learning and development professionals, your line managers or whoever you feel will give you an independent assessment.

The first part of an Accounting Comes Alive program is quite a unique and positive experience for the participants. Using our advanced business modelling system the participants quickly, powerfully and without pain begin to master the financial language required in everyday business and within organisations.

Throughout the program the business environment and experiences of the participants are woven into the content by our accredited trainers. Later in the program, the participants apply their newly acquired financial literacy and business acumen to the financial statements of a well known public corporation. In the final piece, the participants develop an action plan for them to implement their new knowledge and skills back into their workplace.
